Customer Service/Dispatcher
About the role

The Maintenance Company, Inc (TMC) is a national facility maintenance company, providing maintenance management services to commercial properties throughout the United States and Canada.

We are seeking a customer service representative (CSR) who will be responsible for managing, scheduling, and ensuring the successful completion of maintenance service requests. This will include corresponding with facility managers, site managers, and service technicians by phone, e-mail, and web-based platforms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Act as the liaison between customers and service technicians
  • Provide scheduling and service updates to customers through email or web platforms
  • Manage service orders within our system by providing detailed notes on scheduling statues and work performed details
  • Release service orders to technicians for approved estimates
  • Prioritize service requests, such as emergency services to ensure completion within a specified timeframe
  • Manage service technician pricing and job costs
  • Research required information, process service orders, and enter data correctly.
  • Promote customer satisfaction and company integrity
Required Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions technicians
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • An understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook or similar email platforms
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and prioritize multiple service orders at a time
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and time sensitive deadlines
  • Punctuality and reliability
